Jamie Cord Dress

This dress looked good on my fairly small frame and looked fab from the front but unfortunately it looked terrible from the back. There was far too much fabric and it was very unflattering. (Have to admit I bought a very similar dress, which fits perfectly, from another retailer.) So very nearly a perfect dress!

Finally, a simple dress for petites! I was so excited to try it. This dress is beautiful�in colour (Egyptian Teal), fabric and style. Unfortunately, the waist sits too high on me (size 8) and rides up whenever I lift my arms (needing to be pulled back down), which I know would drive me mad. Otherwise, the fit is perfect on my 5'2" frame. So it�s been a reluctant return. I�m sure the size 10 would be too big.

I was very excited about this dress - beautiful colour and fairly neutral, lovely stretchy cord. I could see from the photos that it was short in the body and so likely to fit me. Unfortunately, despite the skirt fitting perfectly, the arms are a little long, which I could live with, but the problem is the fit across the front shoulders. Kettlewell usually fit me very well on the shoulder so I wasn�t expecting that! I think a bigger size would be too big.

Too much fabric in the wrong places. Looked like a bag of suger with legs. Tried a belt. Looked like a bag of sugar tied in the middle with legs. Will try the skirt in the same fabric.

Love this dress. Great style. Good fit. Beautiful colour choices. Shame about the length! Just needs a couple of inches on length to rest on the knee (like the cord skirt). Will have to return sadly.
