Skye Short Pencil Skirt

This skirt is excellent quality. The material is quite thick so definitely not at all see through. The lovely bright purple is very true to how it appears on screen. I disagree with the reviews that say this comes up small: I usually wear a size M in Kettlewell skirts with an elastic waist; I’m a UK size 12-14. Based on others reviews I initially ordered a size L but it was too big, so I should have just ordered my usual size.

I bought ultra violet and navy blue and, due to previous comments, I went for the large rather than medium. I am a Spring and both colours are perfect. The large is tight and a little more so since washing but it is a stretchy and fairly thick material so hope it will give a little with more wear. These will be perfect for winter wear as well as autumn but would be too hot to wear during summer months.

Despite the lovely substantial material, and lovely colors, I thought the color purple was more for winter than spring, I am a bright spring and I couldn't pull it off, the sizing was too small also, as I am a curvy person, this was not the right shape for me, so unfortunately had to return If I got the sizing right at least I would have kept it, as I like the skirt, but I use size medium and even the large was a bit too tight

Fabric felt a little cheap - didn�t have the confidence to keep it as the waistband looked like it would be liable to crinkle and fold over after wearing and washing - also odd that it didn�t match other purple tops I bought - I love your variety of colours it you do make it hard to carry an outfit colour through which is importante for shorties

I love this skirt and I bought 3 of them which might seem excessive but maxi skirts and longer floral skirts do nothing for me. The fit is slightly different from the ponte skirt of the summer before last . The waist is a bit larger and the hips a bit more fitted but I am ok with that. I will get so much wear out of these as a gamine and the quality is good. I am a size 12/14 and bought the large.
