Mayfair Classic Shirt

Love my new shirt. The colour of this shirt is stunning maybe a bit darker than pictured, the sizing is quite generous but that is the way I prefer it.

Loved the colour and the fabric, but as other reviewers have said, rather a lot of fabric across the back - not sure it needs quite so much fabric and such a big box pleat. It also has very narrow cuffs, and as I have problems with doing up buttons, something a little wider would have made it a bit easier. Slightly more length would have been nice too, as it doesn’t stay tucked in for long. Overall, I wouldn’t buy another one at full price without tweaks to the pattern block, but I loved the colour and it was in the sale, so I’m keeping it!

Great colour and good quality cotton fabric. The fit is generous, and quite a boxy shape which works well for me with jeans and classic white t-shirt. Would love to get this in a more fitted/tailored style for work to go under a blazer or suit jacket with a smart skirt.

The shirt was way too big across the shoulders and back, even allowing for the sizing down advice. it just billows at the back and isn't flattering at all. there is no tailoring, and in fact there's a pleat at the back that expands the material even more.
