Isla Print Skirt

Just received a second Isla skirt in Colour espresso and stone in size 12 following an earlier purchase of the skirt in Bright Navy. Lovely skirt, very flattering and comfortable to wear. I also ordered a Joni square neck top in espresso to go with it but I found that a black top looked better.

Really like the style and weight of this skirt and the length was right for me. It's got the same front curved seam as the Alice skirt from previous seasons. I just felt that the size 8 was a bit snug on the waist and round the tummy. Also, as a Spring I found the colour and pattern a bit dull so, much as I love the style, I couldn't justify keeping it. Hoping to see more skirts in this style and fabric in future though.

This skirt is really lovely, just what I was looking for and fits perfectly around waist and over hips, HOWEVER, it is simply FAR TOO LONG for an average height girl like me! I had noticed the model was 5"8" and it was just at her ankles. Come on Kettlewell, we are not all 5" 8" and whilst it's great to cater for the tallest, please also consider the average height girls out there. Remember too, that lots of us style skirts like this with flat shoes or trainers (like your model) nowadays and we really don't want the skirt trailing the ground. If you are offering a 35" length then please also offer a 32/33" for regular height girls. It's so disappointing to receive your item and to either have to pay to have the length adjusted or to send it back. Now I have this dilemma.

Just received the new Isla skirt in Bright Navy size 12, it fits beautifully and is a flattering slimmer fit which for me at 5ft 9 ins is a long midi. Wish the skirt came in the previous Isla colours as well to match my Isla vest top . The skirt material ls a heavier weight and suitable for Autumn. Another lovely item Kettlewell

I'm delighted to see a re-appearance of the Maxi Skirt in a printed version. These are my go-to skirts, and I have more than several! The shaping is flattering and supportive with a bit of stretch, and I like the swingy skirt. I see that it is the slightly shorter length again (the very first Maxis were longer), but it looks great with ankle/cowboy/laced boots.
